Concert in support of Philadelphia Orchestra musicians. Program included:
- Britten: Phantasy Quartet, Op. 2

- Mendlessohn Octet with Philadelphia Orchestra members.
September 2011 Point of Origin, self-presented recital at AxD Gallery
Self-presented recital at AxD gallery. We had more people than seats in attendance, a packed reception afterwards!

February 2012 Bryn Mawr's "Learning to Listen"
The first half is an “open rehearsal” where the audience participates in the process and watches how we rehearse and workshop Prokofiev’s quintet. After a short break, we performed the complete work in costume!
February 2012 World Premiere at One Book, One Philadelphia's 10th Anniversary Dinner
Gabriella Smith wrote a wonderful piece based on Edwidge Danticat’s book, Create Dangerously: The Immigrant Artist at Work
March 2012 Savannah Music Festival (Project440)
As Project440s Group in Residence, we performed in libraries and schools throughout Savannah, GA culminating in a recital at Savannah Arts Academy.
Spring 2012 Residency at Friends Select School
We rehearsed and performed side-by-side with the school’s orchestra, gave seminars on our ensemble’s working life, and an open rehearsal.

Part of Curtis Institute’s Chamber Music Marathon, we played a world premiere by Gabriella Smith. The audience was split- half giving us a standing ovation and whooping, the others whispering “scheiss Musik.” We like getting such strong reactions to our work!

March 2013 Monteverdi’s “Songs of Love and War” with eighth blackbird
A week-long residency at Curtis where we premiered 6 brand new works by each of the Curtis composers and worked with eighth blackbird in coachings and learning how they go about premiers.
March 2013 Savannah Music Festival
We performed to full audiences of Savannah students at the Trustees Theater, at schools and libraries, and in collaborations with other musicians and the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane dance company
August 2013 Lake George Music Festival Ensemble in Residence
In addition to leadership positions within the orchestra, we performed a complete recital and chamber music with fellows at the festival.
November 2013 "Wandering Through Night" at Juilliard
Composer Katerina Kramarchuk wanted to showcase her work, which has become a staple in our repertoire, at the Juilliard School’s Composition Recital.
November 2013 Curtis Crescendo Club
We performed selections of Prokofiev’s Quintet for the young donors at Curtis.
November 2013 Columbia Heights House Concert
We brought a diverse program of Mozart, Gabriella Smith, Katerina Kramarchuk, and Prokofiev to a living room in Washington, DC’s Columbia Heights. Our favorite part was when a child in the audience began dancing to Gabriella’s Children of the Fire right in the front of the room!
2014
June 2014 Runner-Up Award for the Savvy Musician in Action
As runners-up for the Savvy Musician in Action’s Chamber Music Competition, judged on innovation and musical abilities, we performed throughout and participated within a weeklong seminar on musical entrepreneurship. Our favorite performance was at Tapps, which is Columbia, SC’s center of contemporary music and art!
June 2014 BEARDFEST
BEARDFEST is a music and sustainability festival in southern New Jersey. The band that creates it, Out of the Beardspace, asked if we would like to represent classical music on their series! We offered some solo Bach for bass, works by Gabriella Smith and David Ludwig, and some Dvorak! Although much of our audience was attentively listening, some were juggling, doing yoga, dancing, and otherwise experiencing the music!
September 2014 FringeArts - What I Learned About Outer Space
This program was a cutting-edge collaboration with Pennsylvania Ballet, composers from Curtis Institute of Music and Ensemble39.
